The Apt Commercial Planters For Hotel Lobbies And Establishments

Business owners are employing idealistic strategies on how to increase the revenue of hotels and commercial establishments in spite of economic crisis. There are some businesses that are for closure but still the owner believes that they can overcome the predicaments. Other entrepreneurs are even paying for pricey advertisements just to draw attention to of the customers. And for those who are still a neophyte in the business industry, they are trying to create a curve or focal point to the other bland portion of their hotel lobbies so that they can enthrall visual interests from the multitude. Moreover, it is imperative that you know how to make use of the little things as your stepping stones in reaching the acme of success.

Installing the new commercial planters and decorative modern planters around the premises can definitely change the ambiance into a more convenient one.Fiberglass planters, the epitome of human’s versatility in integrating the aesthetic and architectural style, will much work in both indoor and outdoor applications. The state of the art hotel planters can upgrade a plain spot of retail centers or office parks into an exciting and a relaxing environment. And other outdoor planters (small or big) can widely leave a big impact in the corners lacking of conspicuous features or visual attentions for many years.

With the new scheme, customers will feel more comfortable staying at the hotel lobby seeing that the concept of the location looks like their living room in their own private residence. Perhaps, even the oldest hotel standing in the city will appear stylish, fresh and clean once the urban chic modern planters where beautifully organized on the sides and in the facade of the building. In addition, the solid PVC commercial planters can also set a classy and convenient tone to the guests, while the exquisite Metropole fiberglass planters make the angles more redefined.

These large commercial planters can greatly help improve the natural artistry and outdoor-friendly atmosphere of any establishments and hotels. And many people will enjoy the fancy charm of outdoor planters since they last for years. Nevertheless, if you are in a tight budget, there are also vibrant artificial flowers like artificial azaleas and bougainvillea that can fill-up the empty room and can be put in hotel planters to add curb appeal in the surroundings.

The Condo Hotel Craze

What started in strictly resort areas is now branching out into all major metropolitan areas. Most of the larger worldwide hotel chains now sell condo hotel residence.

Much of the condo hotel market in the U. S. started in Florida. The residences there command 600,000-800,000 for a studio. I bedrooms start around $750,000. $1,000,000. 2 Bedrooms Start over the 1,000,000 price range.

These permanent residences feature all the furnishings and amenities of a luxury hotel such as world-class restaurants, 24-hour concierge, security, valet, housekeeping, and room service.

Joel Greene of the Condo Hotel Center says a rental option provided by the condo hotel management company allows owners to receive a portion often about 50 percent of the rental income of their specific unit when away.

Taylor says developers favor waterfront, mountainside, and downtown areas with strong demand for upscale lodging. Myrtle Beach, S.C.; South Florida; and Las Vegas have fast-growing condo-hotel markets that favor high-end travelers and boomers looking for a high-amenity pied–terre. Chicago, Washington D.C., and Phoenix are starting to get in on the condo hotel market, the most notable is the Trump Building in Chicago, studios are starting at $800,000.

Boomers are looking for a vacation lifestyle of spacious accommodations, dining activities, and entertainment, Taylor says. They demand extra services and luxurious amenities.

Heres how the Condo hotel concept works. You purchase a condo/hotel in a world class hotel. Use the residence whenever you like. When your away, put the residence in the hotels rental program and share the revenue with the hotel. The hotels management company takes care of all the management issues such as cleaning, renting and maintaining.

These residences offer the best of both worlds, a hassle free residence in a world class luxury hotel with rent revenue that you receive helps offset the costs of owing a 2nd or 3rd home. As well as the potential for appreciation.

What Colours To Choose For Your Hotel Room

Colour is one of the all important aspects of bedroom design and one of the prime factors to consider when arranging and decorating a room. However, though it is a central factor it is still not easy to choose and there is a lot of thought behind which colours are best.

Influence:

Many people believe that the colours around us influence the way we act and think and that some are more suitable for certain areas than others. Of course, whether this is the case or not, specific tastes are also very important and can make all the difference between how content we feel in a room.

For hotel rooms, designers tend to choose colours that reflect the appropriate mood of the room. This means that they pick colours and tones that encourage relaxation and to help provide calm and restful sleep. Make sure that you keep this in mind when choosing a colour for your bedrooms.

Neutral Colours:

Neutral colours are extremely common and also on trend at the moment. Shades of beige and cream are common, as they can be combined with a range of other colours. Other colours that promote peaceful and restful feeling are lavender, green and pink tones and even light blues.

Blues are said to create calm, serenity and are even said to delay the onslaught of nightmares. Purple is associated with happiness as well as creativity. Each and every colour has certain things attributed to it so bear this in mind.

Dark Colours:

Dark or vivid colours are not recommended as they tend to make a room appear smaller and have certain moods associated with them that are removed from ideas of calm and relaxation. The same is true for dark tones of more vibrant colours; these can overpower the room and make it seem even smaller than it is. If you want to add a bright colour; paint all the walls neutral, while adding a bright colour to one wall of the room. This prevents it from becoming overwhelming and too vibrant. Other notable colours for bedrooms include gold, wine and slate brown these all will add to the feeling of ease and relaxation in the room making them ideal.

Additional Items:

Plants and other additions can be placed in the room to add a little extra colour. Also make sure that the colour of the bedroom walls complements the furniture this is important for balance and can make all the difference for the way the room feels.

Colours can change a room completely and lay the foundation for a whole new appeal. On the other hand, they are also a great manner in which to inflict a slight change of feel. So, use them to your benefit and your room is sure to look excellent.

A Guide To Hotel Linen Sizes

Hotel quality bed linen, duvets and towels are a cut above the rest and thats why hotel rooms always have that sumptuous, luxurious feel. However, how do we know what the industry standards are to make your hotel room so comfortable?

Bed Linen:
Bed linen in hotel rooms has a lovely, luxurious feel and this is often down to the thread count of the linen itself. The higher the count of the threads in the item, the softer and more comfortable the bedding seems to be. The thread count is the number of fibres horizontally and vertically inside a square inch of the material and the higher this is, the better the quality. Hotel bed linen has a thread count of around 300-400 threads.

This then fits over the beds in the room, of which there are a number of different sizes. The exact measurements may differ slightly from one manufacturer to another.

UK Bed Measurements:

Single: Fitted Sheet – 90 x 190cm; Flat Sheet – 180 x 265cm; Duvet Cover – 137 x 203cm

Double: Fitted Sheet – 141 x 196cm; Flat Sheet – 230 x 275cm; Duvet Cover – 198 x 203cm

King size: Fitted Sheet – 152 x 200cm; Flat Sheet – 275 x 280cm; Duvet Cover – 244 x 234cm

Super king size: Fitted Sheet – 183 x 200cm; Flat Sheet – 305 x 305cm; Duvet Cover – 270 x 234cm

Towels:
Towels are also subject to specific requirements for hotels and the width of the cotton towel or its weight is usually measured in GSM, this is grams per square inch. Low quality towels can have a GSM of 200. However, towels in hotels generally have a GSM of at least 600 and up to 800. This ensures they are more absorbent and also softer as there is more cotton to absorb the liquid.

Bath towels in hotels usually come in four different sizes. Again, exact measurements may vary.

Types of Towels and Their Sizes:

Large towel – 100 x 178cm

Medium size bath towels – 70 x 137cm

Small size hand towels – 50 x 100cm

Smallest size towels – 33 x 33cm

Duvets:
The duvet in hotel rooms is usually made from quality natural materials. The tog is how the duvets insulation is measured, and doesnt signify the thickness of the duvet as many people think. This is because different fillings may have the same tog, but differ in thickness.

Togs generally come in six sizes 4, 7.5, 10, 10.5, 12 and 13.5.

Typically, a 4 tog duvet is used for the warmer summer months, whereas the 10.5 tog and 13.5 tog are used for winter months.

So, now you understand the different sizes, thicknesses and materials used by hotels you can buy all your linen, towels and duvets with confidence.

How to Strike a Good Hotel Deal

Unlike what many people think, it does not have to be overly expensive to spend some time at a quality hotel. It does not matter how long you want to stay, you can always get a good hotel deal. There are always suitable deals for hotels but you might have to work a little hard to find yourself one. If you merely decide to call a hotel and accept the quoted rates from the comfort of your home, you will surely end up paying a lot of money for the hotel room you want. To get a good hotel deal you need to go beyond that, keep your options open, and hence get to save a few dollars.

First, you can get yourself a good deal by booking your hotel during the off-season. Few people are booking hotels at this time and consequently the prices are low. When the peak season comes, hotels charge very high rates but having booked earlier you will be free of these high rates. However, it is important to call the respective hotel first to know how much it usually charges. This is because you could be duped into paying the usual rates a hotel charges or even more in the name of a discount.

Many hotels have frequent guest programs. When guests visit they gain points and continue to accumulate them with more visits. This means that you can easily get cheaper room rates. If you belong to a special group that should enjoy special rates at hotels, always remember to make this known before you make the booking. Many hotels will give a good hotel deal to members of the military and students etc. and you will need to have the relevant documents to prove your status. Do not always take the first offer you are given but rather ask if you can get another room at a lower rate. You will be surprised to find that a room costs more because it has a facility you do not need while another room without the particular facility costs a lot less!

Remember that many hotels have extra charges that could spoil a seemingly good hotel deal; be wise and ask about them beforehand. If you have a car, ask if you will be charged parking fees. If you a tourist in a different country, it is possible that you will be charged tourist taxes and it is definitely something that you need prior knowledge of. Then there are the tips and everything else; you need to see how all these will fit into your budget to avoid frustrations.
